The beetle was not made according to the film, but according to the drawing in the rule book for the game "Starship Troopers" - this is more of a collective image of this beetle.

This is not a recast, this is not a 3D model and printing on a printer. ALL models are molded by hand from Green Stuff, then silicone molds are made and models are cast from resin.
